The Text

It was 9:30 in the evening when the cell phone started vibrating on the desk next to her. Propping her glasses on top of her head she leaned back in her chair and picked it up. The number was unfamiliar and the message read, "Meet me at the Venetian, rm 1023 at 11:30".

Quickly she sent back, "You must have sent this to the wrong number" readjusted her glasses and went back to work.  No more then a minute passed when the phone vibrated again, "No, right number. Stop working and get in the shower." She stared at the message completely baffled.

Now her curiosity was peeked, "Who is this?" she sent then waited, staring at the phone.

"The ONLY way to find out is to be at the room in 2 hours." the return message read.

She waited a moment before sending, "Who is this?" again.

"This is the last message, the ONLY way to find out is to be at the room in 1 hour 57 minutes now." the return message read.

She felt the flutter of nerves in her stomach as she contemplated the whole situation. She had a feeling who ever was sending the messages meant what they said about not answering but she couldn't resist trying, "I'm not going drive to the hotel this late at night when I don't know who you are!", then waited.

She knew what they were thinking, "oh yes you will." though she never got that message.

  8. Haha indeed a conundrum. If I had an idea who it would be, I would go. If I were totally in the dark...I would still go. I'd probably think I forgot some lesson with a student or something! lol

  13. Deliciously tempting!

I would need some type of special word mixed in with the text. For example, if the word was "apple", the text might say, "Take a shower and get that apple bottom bootie over to rm..."

I'd be tempted as all hell but scared outta my mind that it might be ....the KILLER! LOL

  15. meaning the person is trying to tempt or play you.. so you respond on a totally different level... such as Network Failure:
The ball is then back in their court to tempt you further and reveal more.. Yet you have revealed nothing, not even interest!

  18. Lesson 2 in Text Playing: I issue a code, to differentiate partners, and to know im actually texting the partner and not the Bf or Fiance or Husband of the partner.. (yes iv text chatted the Bf and been caught out!) Hence the code!
Code as follows... Tell your partner to include a character in the text, such as @ or & or $
You do not reply to the text unless the code character is built into the text message!
    The character is changed weekly..
    Be clever.. Be very clever..
